Photos from the Romneython in Fredericksburg, Va.
I went romneying for Romney on the road with some rabid Romneynators in Fredericksburg, Va. last weekend. Good times, though I was insanely tired. Contemplated putting Tabasco in my eyes to stay awake, but I drank some coffee out of a Chick-Fil-A cup and fell asleep in the car during the door-to-door instead and that seemed to work just fine. Here’s a photographic narrative, some exemplars better than others:

At the Republican National Committee headquarters on Capitol Hill just as the sun is coming up on the morning Hurricane Sandy was set to hit.

A busload of bright-eyed, bushy-tailed Romney supporters getting ready to load up for a 10-day trip to Ohio. Our bus to Virginia left about an hour after theirs.

In the Fredericksburg, Va. Romney Victory Office, as the campaign calls their outposts. Taking notes — and drinking coffee — while the activists warmed up to phone-banking.
And a slew of elephants. This is only a sampling, mind:
There you have it. For the record, I only got the lesson on good photography two days after taking these pictures on my phone, sooo…take the angles with a grain of salt, I guess.
